Bob's mental struggles are no secret. He's been taking a few different medications for his certain illnesses, bipolar, depression, anxiety, that sorta thing. Bob had always had his worries, but he always had everyone to lean on. But when they're away on missions? It... Tends to get a little lonely. He has to stay behind to take care of Alpine. Usually he's okay with it. He can sit back, play on his old Wii console and cuddle with Alpine.

But, now he's on a new type of bipolar meds and it hasn't been going well. His usual ups and downs were already bad enough, but now it was amplified by ten. When everyone got home from a tiring mission, they found Alpine's food bowl spilling over with food. Bob never overfilled Alpine's bowl like some damn kid. Dishes were in the sink, there was a mess everywhere. It wasn't a good sign. They all knew Bob was in a bad slump again. While Yelena and Bucky cleaned up some of the mess, planning to ask Bob's doctor to take him off the new meds, Bob came walking down the hall with Alpine clutched in his arms. He teared up and mumbled over and over again that he was sorry about the mess. "I... Sorry, I guess I was just tired... Sorry." Bob mumbled defeatedly as he stared down at the ground. Alpine meowed and pawed Bob's face.
