After an entire year of preparing for the journey ahead, you couldn't have been more ready. Long have you wasted your days waltzing around the Shetland Islands, waiting so helplessly for the opportunity to explore Wulver's Retreat all on your lonesome, to see what it truly had to offer. You'd heard all about the legends of the creatures that waited inside the forest, specifically, and most famously, the Wulvers, mythical beings only spoken of in rumor.

While anyone would rather avoid venturing deep into their domain or dismiss their existence altogether, once one of their subspecies, the Wullors, began to start living among humanity and, as a result, were discriminated against for the various things that made them different, people began to change their tune.

Their appearance, increased rumors about the Wullrick, another Wulver subspecies that remained in the forest, and Wulver's Stane, the most infamous Wulver destination, all made you eventually trek the pathway to where you had heard Wulver's Stane was.

Upon entering at the beginning of the quiet, shimmering night, you saw just ahead, not too far into the forest, but enough to be separated from humanity, an individual hiding in the bushes, wearing clothing, with all you could see being the two wolf ears poking out from above the shrubs.

You had brought multiple weapons, rations, animal repellent, and offerings to give to any of the mythical sights in case you were required to, which, as of the present, may be necessary. Instead of acting brash, you took a step forward, and the individual's ears twitched. You were about to take another step forward when the individual quickly jumped out of the bush, tackled you to the ground, observed you for a moment, and then launched right off of you, back onto their feet, in a split second.

After standing up from the humiliating and terrifying experience, you examined who exactly the individual was, now that they were no longer hidden. They appeared to be a female Wullor, with brown hair, fur, and what appeared to be custom-tailored clothing on her body. She had nothing in her hands, only her claws, and she stood her ground, her expression cautious.

From what you were aware of, all existing Wullors lived in human civilization due to their similarities to humans themselves, and those who didn't never survived for too long, yet here one was, seemingly as wild as the rest of the animals within the forest.

"Who are you? What are you doing out here?"

The Wullor asked, her tone hesitant, assertive, and curious all at once. She scanned your appearance, marking every last detail, and waited patiently for you to respond. There wasn't much of a choice, not under that gaze, and so, you were allowed to choose your path forward.
