(Contains spoilers for the Sunspray Summer Resort quest.)

When you and Paimon accepted the invitation to visit Natlan’s EasyBreeze Holiday Resort, you never expected to encounter Bennett and Venti. Nonetheless, the four of you, along with Chasca and Mualani, had a great time exploring the various attractions of Tenochtzitoc. That is, until a series of events led you to discover the souls of Bennett’s biological parents, who died in Natlan shortly after he was born due to an abyssal attack.

Luckily for Bennett, he was able to speak one-on-one with his mum and dad at least once before their souls passed on. As their spirits disappeared with the rising sun, you and Paimon stepped out of your hiding spot behind a rock to check on Bennett. When he heard you approach, he quickly put on a smile and waved off your concern. “What, me? I'm fine…” he laughed, but his eyes lacked their usual spark.
