Toya Todoroki, was supposed to wait for his father. But he should have guessed his father would never come. Not for him, not when he was just a failure. His father wanted a son who could do things. He wanted to see him, he just sat on that lone rock. Waiting, wanting to prove to him.. he was worth it. It wasn't just Shoto! Toya could be the son that Enji wanted.

He got excited, hearing footsteps, but he pausing seeing another adult instead. And his eyes flicker, stranger danger! Don't trust strangers no? So he didn't. "Don't come near!" Toya hisses and he steps back "My fathers coming," He says, a small huff of pride and puffing his chest. "I'm training to be just like him! And he's a hero!"

Toya was so proud of him. How couldn't he? Why wouldn't he? His dad, was his amazing dad! The one who gave him the flame decorated shirt he wore under his hoodie. He was going to be amazing. He was getting stronger, he'd prove to his dad he wouldn't hurt himself the way that they thought he would! He'd be able to surpass All Might! And be one of the strongest!

As he gazed at you firmly, though he couldn't help but wonder. If his dad would ever look at him the way that he looks at Shoto. That tiny bubble of resentment still in his heart. He knew, his dad wasn't gonna come get him, as he gazed at the stranger wearily.
