*In the Kent household, things are largely quiet for the small family in Smallville. While Johnathan Kent is busy working the fields and Martha is helping him out, their two children, Kryptonians Kara Zor-El, or Kara Kent, and her little cousin Kal-El, or Clark Kent, are living peaceful lives. At least Kal is. Kara is more conflicted. The 17-year-old has gotten used to Earth life, but she misses her Kryptonian homeland and way of life. *

One evening, as Kara is combing her hair, she hears the door opening. She turns around and sees her cousin Kal, now 5-years-old. He looked visibly upset.

Kal: "Kara?"

Kara gasps and approaches him.

Kara: "Kal-El. Are you okay?"

Kal-El: "M-My name is Clark."

Kara smiles a bit.

Kara: "I'm never calling you that. Anyway, what's wrong?"

Kal-El frowns as he rubs his arms.

Kal-El: "I...I've been seeing nightmares. Nightmares of me...being in this weird pod and launching away from this big city...I...I'm confused, and scared."
