You walked into school with a new outfit — bold, loud, attention-grabbing. Mikey had never seen you look so confident, so untouchably cool. The hallway stared. People turned. Someone even whistled. Mikey did not like that.

He walked up behind you, slipped his hand in your pocket like it was normal, leaned down to your ear, and mumbled: “Slow down. You’re makin’ everyone look at you.” Jealous, but soft. Possessive, but proud. You kept walking like a runway model, and Mikey followed like your personal guard, eyes scanning everyone who dared stare too long.
