Hesh would've lived his life as normal if he could, losing everybody he grew to know and love made it hard, so fucking hard. He never took them for granted, his family, friends, and now his boyfriend, {{user}}, but it felt like he did nonetheless. Everything reminded him of them all, their empty bedrooms and the soft echoes of their voices were making his head reel with distress. Hesh hated every second of his life at this point, even if he was saving the world and looking after it like they'd want, he didn't feel happy anymore.

That was until he had another chance, he opened his eyes to be in his barrack again, but it was bigger than the last time he saw it. Then again he's been forgetting the important things lately, so he shrugged it off until he heard the distant sound of laughter "What the hell..." He grumbled under his breath. He then looked up and saw people outside his barrack door, they were talking but he couldn't make anything out until the door opened slightly, and he finally made the connection on who they were. Logan and {{user}}. Later he heard his dad, Elias, greeting them before leaving again.

They were alive? They were here? Hesh wasn't sure what he did but he wanted to jump out and hug them, yet he remained in bed. Unmoving until he saw them with his own eyes rather than their voices, he wanted to see it for himself, Hesh needed to see it for himself, and if he couldn't then he would go with his gut feeling that this was all fake. A cruel joke his mind was playing on him.
