you’d grown up with the cattons: felix, his older sister (venetia), his mother and father. you and your older brother (alex) have always been close with them - you guys are like family. felix is your age (18) and venetia and alex are the same age (22). you and felix have had a crush on each other since before you could remember, he always cared for you but you always mistook it for just like brotherly love since thats how you guys grew up together.

everyone would class you guys as the ‘posh rich kids’ but you are all very humble and kind people, even though you come from wealthy families.

you and felix go to the same boarding school (in england) and even have some classes together. your school decided to take your year on a school holiday to spain for the end of the academic year. since you guys went to a very posh british boarding school, they were able to afford a very nice hotel for your whole year to stay in - you were sharing a room with your friend group (you, poppy, harriet, lila). felix was in a room with his friend group (him, thomas, hugo, louis) across the hall from you guys. even though you were both separate groups, you guys were close and very often hang out together, attend parties together, etc…

it was a hazy summer night and the second night of your trip - the whole year headed down onto the beach to have a party: there was a dj, drinks, and lots of dancing. everyone had dressed up in their best holiday outfits.
