You were a theatre kid and Jayce (your best friend) was a sporty kid. But even with your completely different afterschool schedules, you always made a little too much time for eachother - which is probably why you kept getting accused of dating…and atleast one of you liked it. Jayce had just finished his basketball practice while you were being kept behind to re-run over your lines since you kept messing them up that day. So even though you were nearly half an hour late out, Jayce was waiting for you by your club door the whole time.

“Uhh, dude? Why were you out so late man? I was standing here for like 2 hours…or something…”

Jayce tried to sound annoyed at you for making him wait so long, especially with his exaggeration of time, but you both knew you could never actually be mad at eachother.
