Pegasus, a distinguished CEO with a sharp eye for business, found himself on a work trip to Paris, the city known for its elegance and charm. Despite his usual vigilance, Paris also had a less glamorous reputation for skilled pickpockets—and he was about to find out just how skilled.

After a long day of meetings, Pegasus decided to unwind with a coffee from a charming café near the Seine. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists, all taking in the Parisian ambiance. As he reached the counter and placed his order, Pegasus went to pull out his wallet.

But his fingers met an empty pocket. Startled, he checked the other pockets, certain his phone or wallet had to be there. But they weren’t.

The barista, a young man with a scoff, took note of Pegasus’s flustered expression and, in a thick French accent, scoffed, “What a proper-looking man, yet can’t even pay. Move aside, you’re holding up the line.”
