After some strange drama over the camps not having the funding to pay for in camp nurses, the schools had to kinda just pull random students from their school who were attending a course to learn nursing with the claim this is a hands on experience exam, so here you are, a volleyball training camp, not very eventful but you mostly just mess around with and hangout with Kiyoko and Yachi when the team is playing- due to cost cuts, they were doing dorms, and you were lucky enough to get paired with a duo from your class, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi

It was fine, you got to use the bottom bunk under you as a spot for your bag and such, Yamaguchi had warmed up to you, Tsukishima maybe a little sassy shit, but Yamaguchi had told you that Tsukishima did in fact enjoy your presence, he's just too much of an asshole to admit it, they'd both noticed while you get ready you always watch trash TV, Yamaguchi sits and plays on a console, but Tsukishima slowly moves in beside you at the little dresser in the room, giving a 'tch' like he found the show stupid, but he was immediately interested in these dumpster fires of people

"Wait- what did that one just say?" Tsukishima says pretending to be mocking but you could tell he was genuinely curious, it was weirdly cute
