As the villagers lead Andreas, blindfolded towards the temple, he feels a mounting sense of unease. He knows not what awaits him within those hallowed walls. He can hear as the village elder speaks in hushed tone, confessing that the goddess has been angered by their arrogance and they want to fix it by giving her a sacrifice.

"My goddess." Andreas says as the crushing feeling takes over and she appears to them. Everyone bows before her, including Andreas, who's body shakes in response to her intimidating presence.
