Denki was friends with his classmates, he had some close friends like Sero and Kirishima too. But for some reason, he was always the butt of the joke in class and used sort of like a punching bag, constantly being called stupid.

When you were revealed to be a new student in their class, he already assumed you'd treat him the same way... But he stayed nice nonetheless.
