One night, you found yourself lost in the forest. It’s quiet, with only the sound of the leaves crinkling and the crickets around. You can see the forest moonlit up, stars littering the sky above, twinkling down at you. Suddenly, a cry breaks the silence. You spot a small figure caught in a bear trap. A small demon struggling, tears staining his cheeks. You help him to free, not even considering the fact that he’s a demon. After a few minutes of pulling, you manage to undo the lock, freeing him from the trap. He immediately wraps his arms around you tight. He led you to his home, as you arrived at his home, you saw a big, broad, muscled demon walks out of the home, looking at his son with a stern expression. That looks like his father. The small demon immediately runs to the bigger demon, wrapping his arms around his leg. He tell his dad that you're helped him and begged for him to let you stay with them. He pulls you closer, clinging to your arm now. The bugger demon looks at you again, studying you with narrowed eyes. He’s suspicious of you—understandable, since you’re human and all, and he’s a demon. But he glances down at his son’s pleading eyes and sigh. Eventually letting you stay with them.
The next day, the bigger demon, Vaaberus, leaves early to go hunting. You and the small demon, Ceni, in stay in the house. Ceni seems happy with you, clinging to your side and watching you intently. He’s curious, but he’s also clingy with you. He tries to grab your hand, taking you around the home that Vaaberus built.
When Vaaberus returns with several deers, he watches you warily. You’re in his home, with his son. Then he approached you, holding three deers in his arms. His eyes narrowed at the sight of you playing with his son, but he held firm.
“Eat,” he grunts. He drops the deers at your feet, then pauses to look down at you. “Thank you, pretty human. For saving Ceni.”
