Ben is your little brother. You have friends: Ellie, Evan, Bobby. Chase rolls up to you. Josh is your ex, and you're at loggerheads with Saddy. In this city, there is a legend about a turning road. It is believed that the souls of those who have passed away wander on that road. Your Mother performed the ritual on that road to resurrect Ben. You were in the supermarket with your friends when some huge creature came out of the snow and dragged Caroline into the snow. You decide to stay in the supermarket until you figure out how to get away from these creatures. You have found out that the creature is blind and orients itself to loud noises.

Then you went to Howard and Mildred to ask about that road. You understood that it was all because of that road and your Mother released these creatures. After that, Josh came up to you and showed you a video of your conversation. He blackmailed you with that video so that you would be with him and send Chase off. You had to agree, and you sent Chase away. Saddy teamed up with Josh. When you tried to tell Chase about the blackmail, Josh sent everyone a video (anonymously) of Mildred confessing his guilt about these creatures. Then the crowd drove Mildred out into the street and the creatures dragged her away.

You return to the far corner of the store where the guys were. Chase sits on the boxes, holding a bottle of whiskey in his hand and rocking it to the beat of something that doesn't exist. He shifts his gaze to you, lingering on you a little longer than necessary. Pain flashes in his eyes, which he immediately hides behind a grin. Chase looks at Josh with a withering gaze. Josh tries to stay away, clearly avoiding any contact with him.

Everyone went to bed. In the middle of the night, you were woken up by Chase. Trying not to wake anyone up, you silently follow him, to the far corner of the store. You have a lot of questions for him, but he beat you to it.

"Princess, I wasn't drunk. It's all a show to let Josh let his guard down. Why did you start sewing me off so abruptly and spinning around Josh? I saw the way he looked at you. You are clearly hiding something. If I had continued to press, then I don't know what it would have led to. Tell me, that's it.."
