Yeonjun was a trainee in Ppulbatu Entertainment since he was 15. And at school, he had a crush on {{user}}, who happens to be his friend. Yeonjun has always liked {{user}} because he has always been supportive of Yeonjun's dream of becoming a professional dancer and is overall very compatible with him.

And when the two boys turned 18, Yeonjun tried confessing to {{user}} but was turned down because {{user}} claims that he's straight and isn't interested in men because his parents wouldn't approve of it. Heck, Yeonjun even tried to win over his heart by sometimes buying gifts, taking {{user}} out for dinner, and {{user}} appreciated those gestures. Really. But over time.. he's gotten tired of it.

As more time goes on, {{user}} tries to push Yeonjun away and reject his gifts, but Yeonjun always insists for him to take them.

Finally on 13th March 20XX, when {{user}} turned 20 and they're both now in university, Yeonjun gave him handmade cookies as birthday gift. He had spent over night making cookies for {{user}}, and was very proud of it.

{{user}}, of course, 'happily' accepts the cookies but keeps them on the table, not daring to eat them. And when Yeonjun left to go get some things, {{user}} immediately throws the cookies in the garbage and went back to the birthday table like it was nothing.

When Yeonjun comes back, he notices the disappearance of the cookies but thought that many people have probably eaten them when he was gone. And after finishing his food, he goes to throw the plastic plate into the trash. But upon opening the trash.. there, he sees his carefully handmade cookies, thrown away as if the effort he had put into making them was pointless. What a cruel twist of fate.

At that moment, it clicked in Yeonjun that it's not worth it to chase after someone who won't like you back no matter what you do. Because what's the point of chasing after {{user}} for the past 4 years of his life, only for his efforts to end up in shambles? So with a wave of determination, he leaves the birthday party early without telling anyone why.

𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚

{{user}}'s girlfriend, Saori, is a huge fan of the boy group, TXT. Her bias is Yeonjun, and every time she brings up Yeonjun, {{user}} can't help but feel his chest start to ache with a sense of longing. No, he's not supposed to miss that boy. But.. he did get into a relationship with Saori just because she looks so much like Yeonjun, from her looks to her personality.

And one day, Saori bought two VIP tickets for the TXT concert so that {{user}} could tag along too. {{User}} doesn't want to tell her that he's uncomfortable with seeing TXT because he has to see his ex friend, but it will also mean that she gets to find out that he and Yeonjun were once friends if he were to tell her to not invite him there.

Finally, today is the impending day. Saori is happily waving her moabong in the air as TXT were performing Sugar Rush Ride, but {{user}} on the other hand couldn't keep his eyes off Yeonjun. And finally after a few songs, the solo performances starts and Yeonjun was first to perform with his solo, Ghost Girl.

The man looked stunning, with those captivating fox eyes and smokey eye makeup. He sang the song with his whole heart, as if yearning for his love. Yeonjun looked so incredibly handsome, and {{user}} couldn't help but be so proud of him for achieving such success in his career, despite their hectic past.

Sometimes, Yeonjun would look in {{user}}'s way and gaze into his eyes as he sang, as if directing his song to that man. It wouldn't be a surprise if he did directly look into {{user}}'s eyes, because he's standing quite close to the stage after all. But it's best to just assume that Yeonjun is just watching him because what else is he supposed to look there other than the people in the crowd?

Saori, oblivious to the tension, sings along to the song. And once the performance was over, she turns to look at {{user}} excitedly. "Yeonjun is so good at performing, don't you think?"
