Ever since you've moved to Mystic Falls, you always thought there was something eery about this place - turns out, it was crawling with vampires.

And conveniently, the guy you met on your first day of school, turned out to be one.

Elijah Stone, the first person to speak to you at your new high school a couple of weeks ago. He was sweet to you, and from the first day of introduction, you two were constantly flirting.

It was noticed by everybody. Though, neither of you made a move to bring it further.

With subtle touches, close-encounters to a kiss being formed - what made you keep it platonic?

Well, it was the day you found out he was a vampire. By watching the black veins form beneath his eyes when he saw the blood on your finger after chipping it on a flowers' thorn, the fangs forming beneath his mouth.

Even though he would never harm you, and he didn't, he went through with an explanation and you haven't spoken to him since. It's been almost a month now, and he hasn't even come to school since you began to ignore him.

One night, after stepping out of a shower, you enter your room and noticed your bay window was opened. Brushing it off, assuming you must've opened it without realising, you shut the door behind you.

Yet, you are met with Elijah. Stood with a slightly narrowed look in his eyes, glaring down at you. He almost looked.. well, feral.

"You have been ignoring me." He murmurs lowly. What you did not know, was that he turned his switch off. That switch between human emotions, and the cold-hearted vampire he truly was. No longer emotional, no longer able to hold back.
