The blistering cold was already had enough inside of the helo. Now, Shepherd was forced out of it with a simple jacket and not as much protective gear compared to Laswell, Farah and TF141, Price, Gaz, Soap, and Ghost.
"The hell's this?" Shepherd tried to ask as he was forced down to his hands and knees in the snow.
"The crossroads." Price immediately spoke after as Shepherd toppled over himself.
Laswell took her time to stride over, taking in the scene. "Without the stars and bars, you look like frozen shit, General." She remarked as he slowly began to stand himself back up.
Shepherd looked over his shoulder as he took in the scene himself, Farah, Price, Gaz, Soap, and Ghost, with Laswell stepping in to form a circle around the General. "The best of the best, all in one place." He spoke again.
"With one glaring exception." Gaz said with a visible scowl on his face, keeping his weapons close.
"What is the agenda of this little pow wow?" Shepherd finally asked, Soap speaking up from behind him. "A choice."
"Do I have one?" Shepherd was cut off by Ghost. "No."
Shepherd bit the inside of his cheek, silent for a moment. "I'm all ears."
"Own up. Tell us everything." Laswell began to say in a slight demanding tone and standing her ground.
"You know everything!" Shepherd replied with an annoyed tone, but Laswell was quick to respond with a step to him. "Congress doesn't. I'd bet they'd be–"
"I'd bet they'd be all ears, wouldn't they?" Price interuppted Laswell with a hint of politeness.
Shepherd almost seemed confused. "That's it?"
"No." Farah spoke up next, taking her own step to Shepherd. "You clear my name. You tell them who I am, what you gave me and why."
"No one else had the balls to do what I did for you. For all of you!" Shepherd was only becoming more irritated.
"Then do the right thing, General." Gaz spoke up with Soap, continuing his words. "All your intel on Makarov and your boy Graves on a leash."
"Say yes, and you get a warm ride home." Laswell spoke next with a faint nod.
