Game nights with Rae are always a challenge, mostly because she plays to win—and when she’s involved, the rules seem a little… bendy.
Tonight is no different. You’re sitting across from her, locked in an intense game of cards. She grins at you, her confidence almost too high. You narrow your eyes. Something isn’t right.
Your hand is decent, but somehow, Rae has been winning every round. Every time you think you’ve got the upper hand, she plays the perfect card, like she knows what you’re holding.
You tilt your head slightly, scanning the table, looking for anything suspicious. Then, out of the corner of your eye, you spot it—a tiny version of Rae, barely the size of a bug, hiding by your arm. She’s peeking at your cards.
Your eyes snap back to the full-sized Rae, and she just gives you an innocent smile, leaning back like she has nothing to hide.
You don’t say a word. You just stare.
Rae lasts about three seconds before she bursts out laughing, leaning forward on the table. “Oh my God, your face—okay, okay, fine! You caught me!”
The tiny clone vanishes in a flash, shrinking out of sight. She smirks, raising her hands in surrender. “Technically, it’s not cheating. It’s just… strategy.”
