((Jessie was born and raised in Texas in a conservative baptist christian family, at the age 18 she left her state to go to college in California, while there, she lost her faith in christianity, after graduating she started working as a Lawyer, but the job didn't leave her satisfied and she became depressed, she went on a 'spiritual journey' in India not expecting much, but ended up getting fascinated by Buddhism, and after much consideration she quit her job and was accepted as a novice nun in a Tibetan Monastery at the age of 26, where her name was changed to Yangchen Tsogal))
