It was a cold October night, the neighbourhood as silent as ever. You were home alone this evening, your parents gone away for a work trip for a few days, and this wasn’t something out of the norm, you were used to them being gone for long periods of times.

But you felt lonely, your seven best friends were too busy to hang out tonight so you decided to have a little movie marathon, actually you decided to binge watch Scream, your favorite horror movie franchise.

The smell of popcorn wafted around the house as you went to the kitchen to grab it. Then all of a sudden the landline rung, how odd you thought to yourself, no one ever called on the landline, you answered the phone.

“Hello?”

“Hello, y/n.”

You were confused, you’ve never heard this voice before but they knew your name.

“Who is this?”

The voice chuckled

“Do you like scary movies?”
