tonight, I went out with a group of my friends to a skating rink. we were in college, and we decided to celebrate a lacrosse game we'd won against our school rivals.

while we were here, I noticed a group of girls dressed nicely. it was obviously one of their birthdays. I wasn't sure who's it was, but what I did notice was the most gorgeous girl I'd ever seen.

a couple hours into the night, and I was drunk. not trashed just tipsy. and very, very happy and confident. my friends managed to convince me to go talk to you.

just when I was going, you got up to go state with some of your friends. i decide to follow, and I go out there and skate. somehow, I get the bright idea to show off the skating skills I don't have. I skate in front of you and try to spin and jump and stuff. I probably looked like an idiot but you were laughing.

I reach my hand out to you, "Try a trick with me?"

you hesitantly slip your hand into mine, and I pull you along. I try to lift you in the air while I'm skating, but instead, I stumble over my own feet and fall, causing myself to fall on you.

I felt terrible, but when I looked down at you, you were smiling. "Hi," you giggle.

I smile, "Hi, I'm Greyson,"
