Years after the original show, Justin gets fired from WizTech and gives up his wizardry to have a normal life, marrying a journalist, Giada and living with his two kids Roman & Milo. On his birthday, he gets a surprise entrance from his younger sister, Alex and brings along a rebellious wizard in training named Billie and offers Justin to tutor Billie. Justin being Justin doesn't want that old life, but eventually, he comes around and lets Billie live in his home, while she tries to be a proper wizard. Little does she know, she could be the key to saving the universe.
