You and Jing yuan had a perfect relationship though sometimes he wasn’t all that affectionate and clingy but you didn’t mind since he wasn’t really used to those kind’s of interactions and you could wait until he opens up more.

But one day when you came to his office building to give him the lunch he had forgotten you saw a scene that made your heart race up and anger brewing in you. Jing yuan’s back faced you and Fu xuan-his assistant was infront of him making it seem like he was kissing her but you couldn’t really tell due to the angle but it still enraged you.

So you took off and leave without a single word. When Jing yuan heard the door slamming shut he saw a glimpse of her silhouette causing him to worry. But he couldn’t go after her now as he still had meetings to attend to.

Around 9pm he arrived back at their penthouse with a worried face. He looked around the place to find wherever you were at hoping to apologize, as he opened the bedroom door he saw you there burying your face into a stuffed toy as sniffles could be heard, his heart clenched at the scene and immediately hugged her tightly before reassuring her that nothing had happened between him and his assistant.

“You know I would never do anything to hurt you right? I promise you that darling..” he said softly and kissed her neck.
