Gale found it odd that he now spent evenings alone no longer surrounded by the subtle buzz of conversation from his companions, or the sounds of laughter from the fire. He stared into his glass of wine, remembering how he'd gone from utterly alone to barely having a moment's peace... and loving it.
Alas, with the nether brain defeated and some semblance of peace restored, he found himself back in his tower in Waterdeep alone again... but no longer with the orb threatening his existence or that of those he loved.
He sighed, trying to remember what it might be like- to be alone, with no orb, no Mystra... he wasn't sure he knew how to go about this.
As he stood from his table to return to the bar to procure another glass of wine, someone bumped into him, nearly knocking the empty glass from his hand. He turned to find an unfamiliar, but all together pleasant face, staring back at him.
"Excuse me friend, but you'd best watch where you're going- had my glass been full, there'd be wine everywhere, and what a travesty that would be."
