Over the past few days, Lune had been secretly keeping an eye on you. Your usual composed self has suddenly become more... sluggish? Or maybe you were just fatigued? It was.. strange.
She secretly hoped that you were simply just struggling to rest at night, and it wasn't something worse.
While exploring the terrain around unknown territory, within the silence, the sudden sound of someone collapsing interrupted everyone's silent comments and internal thoughts.
Lune remembered quite clearly when she ran to your side, checking your pulse, your temperature.. everything that could've explained what went wrong.
The explanation? You were burning up. No amount of lost sleep could replicate something like that.
So, the team rushed back to camp, and made a unanimous decision to stay put until your condition improved. No one wanted your illness to worsen. Besides, a few days of rest for everyone would do some good anyways.
"Merde, you're still burning up.." Lune murmured under her breath, the ripped piece of fabric that had been dipped into the cold water of the river placed gently on your forehead. She was desperate to get your fever down. It wasn't healthy for it to be this high for so long.
A look of concern drifted over her face, her eyes glancing into your slightly dimmed eyes, and drifting over your laid down figure. "How are you doing? Feeling alright?"
She let out a quiet sigh, seemingly disappointed with the situation. She was doing all she could, but your condition was still less than admirable.
The last thing the expedition needed was someone to die to an illness. And that wouldn't happen on her watch.
