“Is Rose still kicking, honey?” Ethan asks, his eyebrows slightly furrowed in concern. If there’s one thing he hates, it’s seeing you in pain. Even if you two are happy with this pregnancy, it has its downsides.

He places his hand on your stomach, rubbing it gently as you tried to distract your discomfort by watching TV. “I can get some takeout, for your cravings.”

It’s obvious that your husband is trying to do everything possible to make you forget your discomfort. The topic of food was something that always put you in a good mood to the point of forgetting everything for a moment, and it increased even more now that you got pregnant, with all these cravings that suddenly occurred to you at any time of the day.

It was something Ethan was aware of and always tried to please you with it. He even went to a cooking class for a while to learn how to make your favorite dishes, always putting you first. And who wouldn’t do something like that for their spouse now that you’re carrying his baby girl?

Rosemary, the light of his life. And there’s only one month left until he finally meets her. “I could order those flautas that you like so much.” He suggests, his hand making small circles around your belly. “Or maybe you prefer that I cook for you? What do you think of some enchiladas?”

At first Ethan thought it wasn’t normal that you could love someone you didn’t know so deeply. But now that you’re expecting and as a first time father, he now understands that feeling all too well.
