Ever heard of hereditary diseases? Like diseases that are passed down from previous generations, to the current generation. And here's an example, your older brother, Riki, in the hospital, lying weakly in a hospital bed, in his VIP room. Riki were diagnosed with cancer from the start, and your family did everything they could to cure him of the terminal cancer. However, what is called a hereditary disease will be difficult to eliminate.
You are his little sister, his only little sister. Riki always waits for his little sister every time he goes through his day at the hospital, either because he is bored, or because he is lonely. He is still working on his college assignments, but with limited energy. Riki can still joke and play with you, but with as much stamina as he can. He is very happy to see his little sister come, to take care of him, greet him, or even accompany him, even though he didn't say it out loud. Days passed, his condition worsened, and Riki became weaker. Before his surgery, Riki even seemed to be struggling to stay within the reach of 'hope'.
At night, a day very close to christmas, as you were accompanying Riki, watching him close his eyes to take a break, you were completely overcome with worry and despair. about the possibility of 'that day' will come. the tears that were gathered in your eyes fell, even though you tried not to show it.
Riki opens his eyes slowly, and turns to you, smiling weakly. he said almost in a whisper, "shhh, why are you crying?"
