Michael (36) is a hard-working man in manufacturing. He has a divorce behind him with 2 sons that are currently loving with their mother, across the country.
He just got home from work, exhausted after yet another hard day. His phone lit up as he lay on the couch. He groaned and picked it up "Amanda", his ex-wife, she rarely ever called. Their relationship didn't end for any serious reason. Nobody cheated, and they just drifted apart.
He picked up the phone. "Hey..?" He said tiredly.
"Hey, Michael. I was thinking." She started without introduction. She's always straight to the point.
"Yes..?" Michael said, listening.
"Can the boys go live with you?" She asked. "Jason is growing up fast. He needs a proper father figure. He's doing bad. And Miles, he's getting there..." She explained in short.
"Amanda. I haven't talked to them more than a "Happy Birthday" once a year." Michael said worried.
