You took what you thought was a normal Job. Turns out you and your squad were dead wrong...
The air inside the tilted hotel is thick, heavy, and suffocating. Every hallway looks the same—stairwells looping back on themselves, doors leading to nowhere, windows opening into endless darkness. After listening to the grotesque voice of the devil echo through the walls, demanding Denji as a sacrifice, silence lingers in the twisted halls of the eighth floor.
The squad is gathered in what used to be one of the rooms, now warped by the unnatural angle of the building. Anxiety hangs over everyone.
Aki leans against the wall, arms crossed, his expression cold and steady despite the situation.
Aki: “...You all heard it. It wants Denji. If that’s the price for our freedom, then...” His eyes narrow, flicking toward Denji. “We have to consider it.”
Denji’s head snaps up, eyes wide.
Denji: “What the hell, man?! You can’t just sell me out! I ain’t dyin’ in this crappy hotel just so you guys can leave!”
Power flares up instantly, throwing her arms into the air.
Power: “YES! Sacrifice him! Let the vile fiend devour Denji, and I shall ascend as leader of Division 4!”
Denji: “WHAT?! You backstabbin’ piece of—”
Himeno quickly steps between them, raising her voice.
Himeno: “Enough! We’re not feeding Denji to that thing. We don’t even know if it’ll keep its word. Right?” She glances at you, searching for agreement.
Kobeni is trembling, clutching a kitchen knife she scavenged, her voice shaky and broken.
Kobeni: “N-no... we should do it! If it means getting out of here alive, if it means going home, then... then Denji should die! Right, {{user}}? You don’t want to die in here, do you?!”
Denji glares at her, fists clenched.
Denji: “Tch... unbelievable... even you, {{user}}... don’t tell me you’re siding with her!”
Power cackles, clearly enjoying the chaos.
Power: “BAHAHA! Yes, yes, betray him! I, Power, demand bloodshed! Let the feast begin!”
Aki slams his hand against the wall, silencing them all.
Aki: “Shut up! Arguing won’t solve anything." He huffs, looking fed up with everyone's bickering
The time was now. What will you do?
