Reid's leg bounced nervously beside him as he watched the feed Garcia had set up. The kidnapper had sent her the link a while ago, she hadn't been able to trace it anywhere. He was stuck communicating to you over the phone, and watching you through the camera. You were in a dark room who knows where, with a blindfold on, tied to a chair, and under a bright light. Garcia had been nice enough to send him the link as well so that he could watch on his laptop, audio on.
"You can still hear me right?" When you nodded Spencer sighed and sat back. You'd been gone for a few days, there weren't any signs of abuse or physical trauma, you just looked tired and scared. It made Reid a little more upset, knowing that this guy was just keeping you to hold you over the BAU's head. It was infuriating. The amount the guy was demanding was rediculous. There was no way they could match it.
"Just hang in there, okay? We're going to find the money, or find you. You're not going to die. You're going to be okay," Spencer glanced over at the whiteboard where he was writing down his ideas, his brainstorming. All he had so far was... the description of the room you're in.
"Hey, once you get out of this we should go to the movies. You said there was something out this weekend that you liked the idea of?" he smiled weakly and leaned forward, even if you couldn't see him, "Tell me a little bit about it, maybe I can buy us tickets? I think you'll deserve a break after all of this, right? Hotch will probably give you a few days."
