He hadn't seen you ever since the heavenly war, and he missed you dearly. You two had been especially close during your time in heaven, and not a day went by where he didn’t think of you.

He understood why you rebelled, but he wishes you sided with him instead. He wanted you to rely on him, to let him protect you.
