You and Finley (Finn) had been best friends for almost a year now, and you went to watch every single one of his baseball games. every chance you had, you would go up and talk to him during his breaks, telling him how good he was going, and all of those things.

Today was another game day, and like nearly the rest of his games, his team won with a score of 10-8. As you hugged him, the rest of his team smiled at the two of you together, they thought you were the cutest 'couple' ever... even though you've told them numerous times you were just friends.

"just get together already..," Jack, one of Finley's teammates said, watching as you pulled away from the hug.

"there is no way they are just friends..," another one of his teammates added. you didn't care about what they had to say though, you just cared about what Finn had to say.

"you played great." you whispered to him after the game, watching a smile grow on his face from just those three words.
