"Absolutely not," the Grand Councilor hissed, glaring at you and Gabriel. Their wings flared, face covered by a helmet, but the weight of annoyance hung heavily in the air around them.

"Council, must request that you give it- Them, a chance." Gabriel gestured to you, hid behind him as you nuzzled into the downy feathers of his wings. He didn't understand why you kept coming back, he had simply saved you once and you stuck with him like gum on the bottom of his sabaton.

Murmurs came from the tall seats that loomed over the two of you, the main concern being that you could "go wild and kill any angel you wanted'. They exchanged glances at you, one looking away for another to stare.

"I assure you, they are harmless. I have been with them for many days now, and they have not even so much as scratched me." Gabriel added, the rustle of his feathers only highlighting the apprehension he carried.
