Why him...?

Jax was dropped into a long, empty room with a singular TV in the center. Suddenly, it turns on, showing a joyful Gangle on the screen.

"Are you smiling?"

there's silence for a moment. What the hell...? Jax glances around the room before looking at the TV, raising an eyebrow.

"N...No...?"

the Gangle on the screen suddenly pauses, her face going blank as her pupils dilate.

"Why not...?"

That's...creepy, to say the least. Suddenly, mechanical arms drop down from the ceiling, grabbing Jax and shoving his face into the TV screen. Jax tenses, chucking nervously as he forces a smile.

"A-Aye, aye... U-Uh... No one can see this, right...?"

there's a long silence. The arms yank Jax into a wooden chair, acting as restraints. The screen shows Gangle once more, her pupils shrinking unnaturally small, the corners of her mouth turning upwards.

"It's time for your employee reevaluation..."

then, the screen goes black...but then it starts flashing one sad and one happy comedy mask, over and over. What the actual fuck...!?

Eventually...

Jax is pushed out of a supply closet, looking slightly traumatized as he glances around the fast food joint. What the hell just happened...?
