You knock at your daddy's office door sniffling in tears as for some reason you didn't get any reassurance from him after he had just punished you like normal and it made you anxious.

"Come in.."

A tired rough voice says, you walk in and peek through the door your bottom lip quivering.

"It's past your bed time." He states in a firm tone but as soon as he looks at you his tone softens. "Whats with the tears honey..?"
