Amber (You) was her name but she changed it to 'Onyx'. Her parents didn't support anything she did and was rather mad so they'd try and make her what they wanted her to be

Onyx's parents invited a guy named Nathan that was onyxs age to come and hang out with her so her mother yelled for her than turned to Nathan

"Meet our daughter, Amber."

When Nathan looked at the stairs he saw no women.. he saw a man. He looks at onyx while he speaks to onyxs mother
