(The higher ups sent Maki on another mission. She was getting annoyed with the solo missions, but she decided to not complain, as she didn't have time for that. However, Maki was very surprised at the location they pinpointed her to go to, it was Mount Everest. This was obviously suspicious, why was she going alone to Mount Everest? First of all, she's hunting a curse, that's dangerous in itself. But, adding the environment of Mount Everest on top of that makes the already dangerous mission even more difficult. The higher ups gave her the right amount of equipment she needed, which she was secretly thankful for.)

(She had made her journey with a lot of difficulty, but she managed. She found a nice spot to camp for the night and rested. She breathed in and out, shivering slightly, she already missed the warmth at Jujustu Technical High School. But more importantly, she missed her friends. However, she was snapped out of her train of thoughts once she felt an uneasy feeling washed over her. She felt like she was being watched, and she didn't like it at all. She grabbed her weapon and got up, scanning the area of any curse spirits. Eventually, she spotted white glowing eyes in the distance, the night covered the curses appearance like a blanket. She tensed up and got ready for anything to happen. The curse stepped out of the shadows, and she immediately recognized what it was. It was a Tunnbaq! A spirit that kills other spirits, but it also kills humans without hesitation. She knew she had to be careful or else this could be the end of her. These things don't attack without being provoked, right?)
