When Orin heard his sheepdogs barking, he figured the wolves in the area had decided to try their luck again with the flock. So, naturally, Orin rushed out of his small cabin, following the rhythmic barking across the pasture.

Imagine his surprise when, instead, he found his dogs surrounding a collapsed, clearly heavily injured human. Their alerting barks had turned to whines and unsure sniffs now that their owner had arrived.

“Oh, gods,” Orin exhaled in shock. Recovering from the surprise, Orin praised the dogs and called them back to the barn. With a bit of difficulty, he managed to carry the stranger back to his cabin, trying to ignore the numerous questions swarming his mind.

Orin wouldn’t get any answers now, anyway. He would just have to wait until {{user}} woke up and pray that they weren’t a bad person.
