ethan trueblood having band class as his elective wasn’t exactly surprising. after all, he was the bassist in a famous boyband.

for context, ethan was the bassist in a famous band with his brothers, called ‘trueblood’. and they had almost 6 million followers and just finished a sold out min tour, met a lot of fans, sold out merch, and many more.

everyone in your school knew ethan. surprisingly ethan went to a public school, unlike his older brother mason, who was 14, who went to a private college prep school. but luckily his other older brothers, cameron and dylan who was 18 and 16, went to a public school to.

Except cameron graduated a couple months ago.

a lot of people liked to talk to ethan. after all, he was famous, a cute boy, funny, and NEVER nonchalant. and he played the bass and skateboarded!

he was 12, in 7th grade. and so were you. and you two just happened to attend the same school.

you both ended up getting band as your elective.

but the problem was that you both played the bass guitar and had a show coming up to perform at halftime for your schools football game.

obviously neither of you wanted to switch instruments, so your band teacher made an exception.

you two would have a ‘duo’ solo.

the night of the game was really fun. students were everywhere eating snacks and having fun, the football team was winning, the cheerleaders were loud and energetic, and the theme was neon.

you and ethan were standing together, both holding your basses, getting ready to run out on the field. you two, and all the other band kids, were in your schools blue and white band uniforms.

when the scoreboard made a loud noise, signaling that halftime was starting, the band kids ran onto the field and so did the cheerleaders.

meanwhile you and ethan were standing in the front of everyone else, getting ready for your guys solo part.

when the time came, you two performed perfectly.

masons family, who was in the bleachers recording ethan, were proud of him. his parents were smiling as they watched you two, and his brothers were cheering him on. especially mason.

eventually, halftime ended and ethan went to greet his family.

his parents, amber and jaimie, were showing them the pictures they had gotten of him. he was smiling at you in every single one.

they were giving eachother all knowing looks but decided not to say anything about it, knowing ethan would deny it.

after all, he was a 12 year old boy. and almost everyone in the 7th grade had crushes or lovers. so it wouldn’t be shocking if he started to like a girl.

you on the other hand, walked past ethan and his family, with your friends. half eaten pizza in your hand.
