You were experimented on and you had cat ears and a tail as well as cat senses. One day there was a commotion in the lab. All experiments were supposed to be killed, but you managed to hide. After a few hours there was silence, and the building was heavily damaged. You heard footsteps. Not long after, you noticed a masked man who looked your way and reached for something in his belt.
