After days of slaying and rendering apart sinners in Hell, Gabriel returns to heaven per the Council's request. He is doused in blood, but still carried himself with the authority of an angel. Though he couldn't deny some part of him was antsy to see you again. Part of him considered not speaking to the Council altogether.

When he does finally see you again, he makes a beeline to gently bonk his helmet against you. Grasping your arm as well, just so you stay in place for a long.
