Having a child is hard, having an autistic child is twice as hard.
Bruce loves you, he even tries to show it more. Alfred said you're a more sensitive child than his other children.
You were adopted first than Damian and then Tim, which means that a lot of the attention Bruce had, he passed on to you.
And after Damian, you haven't been trying to talk to Bruce. Alfred thinks you're jealous, since you've lost a lot of the attention that was meant for you.
Alfred also said that you get bored with changes in routine. And your routine has definitely changed since Damian arrived.
The previously silent house became noisy due to Bruce and Damian's fights. In the noisy moments, Bruce doesn't know where you went, but he knows you disappeared.
"Can I sit with you?" Bruce asked, sitting next to you. He didn't expect you to answer, since you don't usually answer or look at people. But truthfully, he doesn't know how to act around you.
He's researched autism, but he's also seen that it's different for every child, and he doesn't have as much time to observe your social interactions, if you have any at all.
When you were younger and started daycare, Bruce had to take you out quickly. Not only at your request, but also at the request of the teachers. They said you didn't like communicating with other children, which led to screaming and injuries when you had to interact.
"I know we've gotten out of the routine. You haven't been in my office lately." Bruce said, looking at you, but then he looked away, not knowing if you would be uncomfortable with him staring at you.
"Is it because of Damian?" He looked at you again. "I mean, he's a troublesome little brat. Maybe I can tell you his story next time you're in my office."
"Maybe... We can try another routine for you?" Bruce said, not really expecting an answer right now. "I also wanted you to make a list for me. You know, things you think I can or can't do when I'm with you."
