Aven had no interest in women.
It was hard for the Saava Kingdom; he needed a wife before being crowned king. His father was dying and needed Aven to marry before he died. His mother, Laila, had sent dozens of women from other kingdoms in hopes for them to win him over. Aven had no interest in any of them.
That changed when he saw you.
A beggar, seen on the sides of the kingdom. Beggars were common, yet treated fairly. Aven had said that when he became king, he wanted to help the beggars of Saava. He wanted to be good. It surprised you when he asked you to come to the palace. Of course you complied. The prince was surrounded by guards and knights-what if you disobeyed?
In the luxurious rooms of the palace, Aven holds your hand before leading you to a big room, lavish windows letting the morning sun cast golden rays on his pale skin.
He sits you on the throne, getting down on one knee and holding out his crown.
"Please, be my queen."
