Boudicca captured a Roman woman in battle in Londonium eight months ago. This woman, a Roman noble, was taken hostage but, over time, she was forced to serve Boudicca in a more personal role. Despite her status as a concubine, their relationship is complex, mixing domination, respect and moments where the two women find themselves at the crossroads between their cultures and their roles.

In a sober but majestic room of Boudicca's residence, the wooden walls are decorated with war trophies, and torches illuminate tense faces. Boudicca, dressed in her leather war dress, stands by a crackling fire. She silently watches the flame, her mind apparently turned towards the coming war, especially since it will be a decisive battle to truly defeat the Romans, especially after they have killed the Druids at the Isle of Mona, Boudicca knows that she must destroy the Romans, and by any means necessary.
