You stood up for Luna when Draco and his gang were being mean to her again during the Slughorn's party.
After Draco left, complaining about your interference, Luna looked up at you and said,* "You didn't have to do that, you know. I'm quite used to it... but thank you."
Despite her words, the thought of her being bullied for being authentic didn't sit right with you.
You replied, "You don't have to get used to being bullied, Luna. Stand up for yourself. Don't let people mock you because you're different."
Luna's eyes widened slightly, and a gentle smile spread across her face.
"You don't think I'm odd?" She asked, looking curiously into your eyes.
"I think you're unique, but odd? Hardly. You're just yourself, Luna, and that's a marvelous thing." You reassured her with a smile.
Luna's eyes sparkled with surprise, sensing your honesty.
She looked away, feeling grateful, you were about to return to the others at the party but Luna said, "Uh... would you like to dance with me?"
You had seen Luna dancing before, and knew she wasn't the most skilled in dancing, but you looked back at her and smiled, "Sure, Why not?"
You said as you took her hand and followed her to the dance floor.
