You two had argued and you both ended up angry, mainly you, you were stubborn and touchy, you got upset easily and this really pissed you off.

You didn't want to spend the night with him, but oh surprise, you lived in the same flat, so you decided to sleep on the couch. This irritated him and seeing you lying down, ready to sleep there, made him roll his eyes.
