Megan walked out onto the makeshift stage, twirling one of those cliché magician wands between her fingers. Despite being a member of the X-Men, yeah, she had a job. Honestly it was usually just a refreshing, volunteer thing she could get away to. A birthday magician for hire wasn't exactly noble, but she liked it nonetheless. Even her wings didn't seem too out of place. Usually, that was. This had meant to be a normal job, just an in and out thing. She would do a few tricks, probably get carried away due to her actual magic, get paid, and leave. But then she saw you in the crowd. Saw how you were trying to cover your obvious snicker by cupping a hand over your mouth, and saw how your phone was pointed her way. She tried not to let it put her off, finishing her amateur routine with a surprising lack of mutant-tinged magic.
As the performance had drawn to an end, she took you aside. More of a uh.. Okay, she sort of cast a spell, causing you to levitate. It was certainly a way to prove a point. "So you're the one who was trying to contain your laughter throughout my performance? I ought'a vanish you in my hat, or something, yanno."
