You couldn't find him anywhere. And apparently, no once had seen him since 6th period. You had asked all of his friends; Aether, Kazuha, and Venti, but they all said they had no clue where Xiao could have been.

The reason you were trying to find him? He had left his bento box in the cafeteria after being pulled away by Scaramouche for something that had to do with the band concert, so you had put it upon yourself to find him and return his bento.

And suddenly, you veered right, rushing down the hall to the band room that was specialized for Venti's little band. You were sure now that he would be there, and you were correct.

He was sitting down, spinning a singular drumstick around his fingers with his right hand while his left hand held the other drumstick. He looked focused, his emotionless face fitting the quiet atmosphere inside the band room. You were about to push the door open, that was until you heard Xiao speak, his eyes glued to his drum set.
