You were praying, as you did every day with your Japanese elders. Praying to the gods. To the Sun, for light and energy, for another day, to the Clouds, for rain that feeds the crops. For the Earth, to hold the crops, and keep steady under their feet.

When you opened your eyes, you expected nothing to be abnormal. You expected to be in front of the shrine... but, instead, you were in front of a a glowing being with a warm aura, and bright orange hair. A small smile dawning his face. A God.
